It's about time!

Man, where have I gone?!? My last posting was January! Now I have to fill you all up with what has happened since then. (Pasensya sa mga taga sa amin ngayon lang ako nagkaroon ng oras eh) We have a big change here... In the middle of January, Jon was offered a new job with a new company. YES! It was very exciting yet scary. He has been in his company for almost six years. So needless to say, he has invested time and relationship with his co-workers. So, change seems to be really hard. It took Jon a little over a month to decide whether he should stay with his company or move on, take the opportunity and go for the change. And after a lot of thinking and researching and talking to people, he did decide to go ahead and go for this new opportunity that was given to him. And that it is a time for a change!

He is now working for MDI Security Systems as a Field Engineer. He started his new job yesterday. He still works the same hours and at the same place for now. But soon it will change. I would love if he can still work from 6-3 but I guess that is part of the change. If they need him to work a different schedule then what can we do right? Hopefully there would be no conflicts with his school schedule. Now THAT would be a problem! Anyway, Jon is happy with his decision and I will always be beside him to support him.

The last month and a half was very stressful I tell you! Im glad it's over. :-)

Just a little too young...

I have been rereading my twilight books lately and when I saw this, it put a smile on my face...

I don't blame her. They're great! She's just a little too young for them right now...

Nathan @ 6 Months

Here is Nathan @ 6 months old. He is a whopping 17 lbs. We are going to move him to a convertible car seat soon. We didn't have this problem with Erika until she was a year old. My daughter is so light and tiny. Do you wanna know how heavier Erika is than Nathan?....

4lbs! Yes, people! Only 4 lbs. They even wear the same size diapers... Which is good in a way because I only buy one size diapers for them... But I don't know how long that is going to last.

Here are some of his cute pics, enjoy!

His favorite part of the day, bath time...

Posing for the camera before bedtime

Patiently waiting for his dinner

What a big smile...

Yummy carrots...

Can I have some more?

Goodbye 2008 and Welcome 2009!!!

What a year it was! Let's recap:

January: Finally decided to tell everyone I was pregnant even though I found it out on my birthday!

March: Found out we were having a baby boy! Jonathan Jr, how exciting and fun! I was sooo thrilled to find that out! A baby brother for my little angel.

April: Toddler bed success!!! Erika was officially a big girl then!

June: My worst month of the year! I was on bed rest for 5 weeks! Closing at the house fell through. BUMMER! (Thanks to the Brunning family for rescuing us and offering their beauiful home)
On top of everything that was going on, I almost forgot to mention that Jon went back to school. Imagine that!

July: I had my baby boy Nathan Christopher on July 3rd. He was a whopping 9 lbs and 3oz. Though he had to stay in the NICU for a few days, he was able to get home on the 8th and the same day we were able to close in our new house. Of course Grandma Chris was there to help! And Erika is now officially a BIG SIS!

September: Jon turned double three (33)! YIKES! He definately does not look his age:) My little sister Hannah turned 8 and was baptized. I miss her soo much!

October: Halloween! Erika was Tinkerbell and Nathan could've been Jabba the Hut with all his chubs.

November: Big month! Erika turned two and I turned 24! Erika had a small party at home with her cousins and some of her friends. We had pizza and cake and ice cream. Yum! We all went to DC for my birthday. Had lunch at Hard Rock, drove home and watched a movie. Fun birthday! And oh, our Christmas decors are up ;)

December: Christmas! We had a relaxing one this year. Went to PA the next day. Had a great time at Great Wolf lodge with our friends from back home. Celebrated new year by cleaning the house and painting the kitchen and bathroom.

*sigh* What a year! We had our downs but despite that we had so many blessings that would take forever to count. Our trials made our family stronger and helped us become better individuals and parents. We are ready for yah 2009, I say, bring it on...
