Nathan @ 11 months...

There must be something in the air...

I have been seeing a lot of these lately. (These tickers are pretty cute though, aren't they?)

14 ladies I know are pregnant! Some are in the family, friends and people I work with. 3 just had their babies recently. Isn't that crazy?! And one of them is my sister. She is nine months preggy right now and is just about to pop. Too bad I couldn't be there. She is going to be my first niece. I AM SO EXCITED! She is going to be the third grandkid in my family and since Erika and Nathan are over here, I bet she is going to be spoiled rotten by everybody:-)

What do you get for working at The Children's Place?

I like buying clothes for my kids ahead of time. Especially when they go ON SALE! So with my associate's discount, I took advantage of the $0.99 winter sale of TCP. Guess how much I paid for all this stuff:



TWENTY THREE DOLLARS AND EIGHTEEN CENTS! Can you believe that? Jon thinks that it's silly to post this on my blog but I was so thrilled about this purchase I couldn't wait to post this here. This is when working so late at night pays off. So here is a list of what I got: 1 pajama, 17 sweaters, 5 turtle necks, 1 skirt, 5 pairs of pants, 2 dresses, 1 pair of shoes and 3 bags of underwear. Isn't that A-MAZING?! All of those for $23.18! My kiddos will be ready for the winter!

"THE PLACE"

So, after thinking about it for quite a while now, I have decided to get a part time job. I LOVE being a stay at home mom but I thought it would be good for me to get out of the house and work part time. I decided to apply at The children's Place at the mall because I shop there all the time, might as well take advantage of their associates discount. I was totally surprised when they called me for an interview three days after I turned in my application. I was so excited that they hired me. That totally felt good after not working for three years!

Meanwhile while I am at work this is what I am missing at home:-(



Jon gave both Nathan and Erika a bath in the tub and he said they had a blast! They were both splashing water everywhere. The floor was more wet than them when they were done. Aren't Dads great!

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey

It was AWESOME!!! I have never been to a circus before and I tell you it was great! There were a couple performances where I just couldn't look. It was unbelievable! Surprisingly, both my kids did VERY WELL. I was actually worried as soon as the lights went off and the music started that they were going to freak out just like some of the kids that were there behind us. Thankfully they did great (considering we were there for 2 hours). Five minutes before the show was over they started acting up. It was past lunch and nap time when it was over.

Anyways, I took a lot of pics but only a few turned out okay. Overall, Jon and I agreed that we are doing it again next year! Totally worth it!

Nine Months...

Four Years!

Today is our four year wedding anniversary!!! YAY! But it doesnt feel like it. Seems like it was only yesterday when I flew here to the US and got married. And now we have Erika and Nate. Time sure does fly!


We were joking with each other when we first got married that we are going to have a two year contract and if it works, great. If not, then I am going back home to the Philippines and he can find himself a white girl:-) But so far it is working so I think we'll just renew our contract. Lucky me, I found a great guy!
