Four Years!

Today is our four year wedding anniversary!!! YAY! But it doesnt feel like it. Seems like it was only yesterday when I flew here to the US and got married. And now we have Erika and Nate. Time sure does fly!

We were joking with each other when we first got married that we are going to have a two year contract and if it works, great. If not, then I am going back home to the Philippines and he can find himself a white girl:-) But so far it is working so I think we'll just renew our contract. Lucky me, I found a great guy!

What happens if you leave the room for TWO minutes...

So, Erika and I were down stairs in the basement this morning. I was doing my nails while watching Erika then left and went upstairs to check on Nathan. When I came back downstairs, this is what I saw:

I couldn't tell from her back what she was doing. Then as soon as I saw red color on her nails, I freaked out. Thank heavens she sat on her own chair when she did it. If anything got on my one month old couch, she would be in time out for quite a while. After I checked her out, I was actually surprised that there was no nail polish anywhere but on her nails... Still, it was pretty scary. I didn't want to see red nail polish anywhere. And here is the finished product:

An Early Easter Egg Hunt....

We went to an Eater Egg Hunt last Saturday in Dumfries. It was totally cute! Not only did they have the egg hunt but they also had face painting, there were baby animals there to pet, the bunny was there for free pictures and there was a raffle in the end. It was a fun day! Erika got so many eggs. Here are some pics that we took.

What every mom of two should have...

I am getting too excited just typing this right now. I have never owned a stroller that I am so extremely happy about until I bought this one: The Baby Trend Sit and Stand Plus with parent tray.

(By the way, this isn't the cutest one they have. They have a couple of different colors. The one I have is red.)

Why? I'll tell you:

1. This is the most versatile sit and stand stroller.

2. It can be used as a double tandem stroller that accommodates most infant car seats.

3. You can remove the rear seat to make a standard Sit-n-Stand stroller with the bench seat and standing platform.

4. Your younger child can sit in front while the older can sit or stand in the rear.

5. It folds SOOOO fast and EASY!

6. It is not too heavy.

7. The front seat reclines.

8. It steers very very easily.

9. It has a basket underneath for storage

10. Love the parent cup holder too!

I am soooo glad I bought this stroller. It made my life easier with Erika and Nathan when Im out and about! SO if you're thinking of buying one, you might wanna consider this one!

My little man...

Eight months?!? Are you freaking kidding me??! My baby is not so baby anymore. He is getting to be a big boy now. He can now sit up, crawl (well more like dragging himself around), eat baby food, hold his own bottle, sleep through the night and play with Erika!!! I cannot believe it! What a difference from a couple months ago!

Please don't grow up too fast Nate! You can take your time with everything. I would not mind at all!!!

My Big Day

After almost three years, I finally got my braces off! Wooo Hooo!!!! It feels so weird but at the same time I am sooo happy that they are gone. I have been looking forward to this day since the day they put them on. I looked kinda funny after they took them off. But few days later, I look normal again. Like I don't have false teeth anymore. It needs some getting used to when I look in the mirror. Nathan looked at me funny when I smiled at him when I came home from my orthodontist. Erika didn't care. And Jon was happy for me of course.

The best part about this is that I can brush and FLOSS easily!!! I know, it's a silly thing but I didn't realize how much I appreciate being able to floss until I had my braces. It was a pain in the butt.. NOW it sooo easy!

The retainer is another issue though! HA! I'll take it over braces anytime! At least I don't have to wear them 24/7. AND I can take them off whenever I want to! (Well it's more like I have to so I can eat) I would say that it is worth every penny!
